PM Modi Asserts BJP-NDA as Sole Contender for Central Government Formation

During an election rally in Tehatta, under the Krishnanagar Lok Sabha constituency in Nadia district of West Bengal, PM Modi remarked, "Trinamool Congress may not secure more than 15 seats. Despite strenuous efforts, Congress may struggle to surpass the fifty-seat threshold. The state of the Left parties in West Bengal is well known. Hence, in this scenario, BJP-NDA emerges as the sole force capable of government formation post-elections."

Criticizing the TMC, Left, and Congress for their perceived lack of foresight, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that besides the BJP-led NDA, no other political entity stands capable of forming a central government at present.

He further pondered, "The pertinent question now is whether the NDA will surpass the 400-seat mark this time."

Addressing the rally, PM Modi cautioned the Trinamool Congress about potential repercussions for their alleged exploitation in West Bengal. "In West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress is accused of embezzling funds meant for the impoverished. This opposition is evident in their resistance to the direct benefit transfer schemes initiated by my government. As a result of this discontent, the Trinamool Congress administration has obstructed the execution of numerous central development projects in the state," he stated.

Referring to the recent seizure of arms in Sandeshkhali, North 24 Parganas district, during a joint operation by the CBI and NSG, PM Modi questioned the purpose behind storing these weapons. "Were these arms stockpiled to reinstate democratic norms in West Bengal?" he queried.

In his endeavor to propel West Bengal towards greater progress, PM Modi emphasized the necessity of electing more BJP candidates from the state. "Enhanced development in West Bengal hinges on a robust NDA government at the Centre," he asserted.
