Gun, ammunition, cash recovred from aides of AAP MLA Amanatullah
Sources said that the aide of Amanatullah failed to produce a licence for the gun seized in the raid. "The gun, live cartridges and cash to the tune of Rs 12 lakh have been recovered from the premises of Hamid Ali, an associate of Amanatullah," said the source. On Thursday, Amanatullah was summoned by the ACB to join the investigation in connection with an ongoing probe into criminal conspiracy and criminal breach of trust by public servants.
Congress workers threaten Kerala vegetable vendor over donation for 'Bharat Jodo' yatra
Reacting to the incident, Kerala Congress unit Chief K. Sudhakaran tweeted, "Three party workers involved in an unacceptable incident in Kollam have been suspended with immediate effect. They do not represent our ideology and such behaviour is inexcusable. The party is crowdfunding small donations voluntarily unlike others who get corporate donations. Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh also came down heavily over the incident.

Avanish Awasthi appointed CM Yogi's advisor
Former Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Avanish Awasthi retired from IAS officer service on August 31. According to an official order, Avanish Awasthi's term will be till February 28, 2023 and he will advise the UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in administrative matters.
Amarinder Singh to join BJP on September 19
PLC spokesperson Pritpal Singh Baliawal said that Singh will also announce the merger of his party with the BJP the same day. He said that a few former MLAs will also join the BJP along with Singh on September 19. Speculations of Amarinder Singh joining the BJP had grown stronger after he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on September 12.
