Wagging a finger at the ally Congress, SS(UBT) MP and Chief Spokesperson Sanjay Raut said, "Nobody should consider themselves as the 'Big Brother' in the MVA, and urged the need to treat all as equals in the group comprising Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (SP).

Defying all exit polls, the BJP on Tuesday crossed the majority mark in the Haryana Assembly by winning 48 seats, a significant rise from the 40 seats secured in 2019 in the 90-member Assembly. The Congress secured 37 seats, while Independents won three.

We will continue to talk on this and hope that tomorrow there will be a change of government in the country, there will be a new setup with whom we can discuss this and get something for J-K."

The BJP had complained to Lieutenant Governor V.K Saxena that the property was not properly transferred to the present Chief Minister, Atishi, leading to the intervention.

The opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) wants to weaken Maharashtra to gain power, but the ruling Mahayuti will strengthen the state, he said after virtually inaugurating various development projects of more than Rs 7,600 crore in the state.

"I am confident that Haryana's role is going to play a pivotal role in realising the goal of a developed India," said PM Modi on his X handle, after meeting the Haryana CM.

The MahaYuti is resolved to make Maharashtra stronger against the plan of Maha Vikas Aghadi to weaken the state. "I congratulate the people of Maharashtra for this launching day of these various development projects," PM Modi said at the outset of laying the foundation stone and inaugurating various projects worth Rs 7,600 crore in Maharashtra through video conference.

Mehbooba Mufti reacted to the loss of her party with a bold face. She said, "It is encouraging that the people came out and voted in such large numbers. So far as PDP is concerned, everybody must accept the people's verdict. Winning and losing is part of the election process."
