No political personality is ready to sail in 'sinking boat' Congress, asserts BJP

Ambardar, who is also the BJP's in-charge for the Srinagar parliamentary constituency, made these remarks while inaugurating the party's election office in Srinagar.

A senior BJP leader, Surinder Ambardar, has characterized the Congress party as a non-performing asset (NPA), a liability, and a sinking boat, claiming that no political party is willing to associate itself with the Congress. Ambardar cited instances such as Mamata Banerjee's decision to contest Lok Sabha elections alone and Nitish Kumar's departure from the INDIA bloc to return to the NDA as evidence of the Congress becoming a liability.

Ambardar, who is also the BJP's in-charge for the Srinagar parliamentary constituency, made these remarks while inaugurating the party's election office in Srinagar. The BJP inaugurated election offices in all five constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

Highlighting the BJP's preparations for the upcoming general elections, Ambardar mentioned the creation of 38 departments and the appointment of convenors and co-convenors to oversee various aspects of the election, including election offices, social media, and strategic planning.

Expressing confidence in the BJP's electoral prospects, Ambardar stated that the party aims to win at least 330 seats on its own, contributing to an overall score of over 400 for the NDA. He predicted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would secure a hat-trick in the upcoming elections.

Ashok Koul, the BJP's general secretary (organisation) for Jammu and Kashmir, commented on the INDIA bloc, stating that it has broken away and many partners have left it. Koul characterized the earlier meetings of the bloc as mere photo sessions, emphasizing that the BJP sees no possibility of any political party forming an alliance with the Congress in Kashmir.

Regarding the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Koul asserted that the BJP would ensure they take place after the parliamentary polls.
