Nitish was being abused, not respected by allies, says JD-U MLA Gopal Mandal

Amidst swirling speculations about Nitish Kumar potentially leaving the ruling Mahagathbandhan and rejoining the BJP-led NDA, JD(U) MLA Gopal Mandal has asserted that the Bihar Chief Minister is not receiving the respect he deserves from his current allies.

Mandal revealed that Kumar has been subjected to abuse within the alliance, but he also cautioned that if the Chief Minister decides to switch alliances again, it could lead to his political downfall.

Highlighting Nitish Kumar's leadership within the JD(U), Mandal emphasized that Kumar is the undisputed top leader of the party, and he personally would continue to follow Kumar regardless of his decision. Mandal expressed unwavering support, stating, "Wherever he goes, I follow him. I will stay with him."

Addressing the possibility of JD(U) MLAs splitting or joining the Mahagathbandhan, Mandal asserted that the party's MLAs are resilient and will remain united, resisting any attempts to divide them.
