As the Lok Sabha elections approach in Kerala, the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) holds a strong position, having won 19 out of 20 seats in the 2019 polls. The Left Democratic Front (LDF), led by the CPI(M), has two seats, including one gained after the Kerala Congress-M joined them ahead of the 2021 Assembly polls. The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) also competes, making it a triangular contest.
