According to an official statement released by the Governor's office and shared on its verified social media handle, the CCTV recordings are open for viewing to any resident of West Bengal, with the exception of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and representatives of the state police.

The statement declared, "Hon’ble Governor C.V. Ananda Bose has initiated the 'SACH KE SAMNE' program in light of baseless allegations by the police regarding the non-disclosure of CCTV footage related to an incident currently under unauthorized and unconstitutional investigation."

"The Hon’ble Governor has decreed that the CCTV footage is accessible to all residents of West Bengal, excluding politician Mamata Banerjee and her police force due to their publicly known stance," the statement continued.

Recalling events from May 6, the Governor had accused the Chief Minister of engaging in reprehensible political tactics, showing no regard even for the Governor's office.

"I've consistently maintained that I'm not well-versed in politics. However, given the slanderous remarks made by the Chief Minister against me and her manner of speaking, it's evident that her political conduct is exceedingly unethical. I'll pray for her protection, although it seems even divine intervention won't suffice," the Governor had remarked.
