PM Modi Alleges Corruption and Appeasement Politics Connect Congress and BRS

Accusing Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of being complicit in a shared corruption syndicate, Modi emphasized their mutual covering up of each other’s misdeeds during a public rally supporting BJP candidates in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, and Adilabad Lok Sabha constituencies.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted on Wednesday that Congress and BRS represent two sides of the same coin, alleging a nexus of corruption, appeasement politics, and a lack of governance between the two parties.

Accusing Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of being complicit in a shared corruption syndicate, Modi emphasized their mutual covering up of each other’s misdeeds during a public rally supporting BJP candidates in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, and Adilabad Lok Sabha constituencies.

Modi highlighted corruption as a common thread binding both parties, despite their public accusations against each other. He pointed out instances such as the failure of BRS to probe cash-for-vote allegations during their tenure and Congress's silence regarding corruption allegations in the Kaleshwaram project.

Asserting BJP's commitment to prioritizing the nation's interests over familial considerations, Modi contrasted it with Congress and BRS's alleged focus on family interests. He urged the people to safeguard Telangana from this alliance, lamenting how TRS (now BRS) had betrayed the hopes of the people by favoring one family's interests over others after the formation of the state.

Modi also accused Congress and BRS of fostering a strong appeasement bond, citing their purported leasing of Hyderabad to MIM. He noted BJP's challenge to MIM and accused Congress and BRS of working towards MIM's victory.

Further, Modi reiterated allegations of a 'RR tax' scheme in Telangana, criticizing the transfer of resources from Telangana to Delhi. He quipped about the tax collections surpassing those of the Telugu blockbuster 'RRR.'

Taking a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, Modi criticized his silence on corporate entities during elections after previously targeting them. He challenged Gandhi to disclose any financial dealings with Ambani and Adani during the elections.

Accusing Congress of attempting to redistribute reservations from SCs, STs, and BCs to Muslims, Modi stressed the absence of religious-based reservations in the Constitution. He also reiterated allegations of Congress's alleged plans to obstruct the construction of the Ram temple and overturn court verdicts.

In a homage to former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao in Karimnagar, Modi accused Congress of disrespecting Rao by denying him a tribute at the Congress office after his death. He expressed pride in BJP and NDA conferring Bharat Ratna on Rao and meeting Rao's family in Hyderabad.

Modi expressed confidence in BJP's victory in Karimnagar, citing public support for BJP MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar. He mocked Congress's inability to find candidates for certain constituencies and BRS's apparent lack of visibility.
