Bengal CM turning to the most dirtiest form of politics: Governor

In his address to the media at the Kolkata airport upon returning from a three-day visit to his hometown Kerala, the Governor expressed his frustration, stating, "Despite my efforts to remain apolitical, the Chief Minister continues to entangle me in politics. I won't tolerate any sort of arrogance towards the Raj Bhavan," the Governor told her.

Governor C.V. Ananda Bose of West Bengal made a strong statement on Monday, accusing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of engaging in the most reprehensible form of politics, even targeting the Governor's position itself.

Being fully committed to his earlier words of appreciation about the Chief Minister, the Governor did not back down, saying, "I have always maintained that I don't know politics. But the Chief Minister's use of defamatory words and her brand of politics, I believe, are the hallmark of a deeply unscrupulous person.  I will earnestly pray for her protection, but it appears even divine intervention may not shield her."

Although the Governor did not directly address the molestation allegations leveled against him by a temporary staff member at the Kolkata Raj Bhavan, which emerged on May 2, he vehemently denied the accusations on the same day. He dismissed the complaint as a malicious ploy aimed at gaining political mileage during elections.
