In the electoral arena of Pathanamthitta, Anil Antony is pitted against Anto Antony, the incumbent Congress MP, and Thomas Isaac, a seasoned CPI-M leader and two-time state Finance Minister.

With the electoral fervor escalating as the polling day approaches for all 20 Parliamentary seats in the state, Achu Oommen Chandy, presently based in the UAE and immersed in her pursuits of modeling and traveling, affirmed her commitment to campaign for Congress candidates across Kerala, with the exception of Pathanamthitta.
