PM Modi Set to Address Fourth Election Rally in Haryana on October 1

The rally is being readied at the border of Faridabad and Palwal at Prithla Assembly constituency.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election meeting in Faridabad of Haryana on Tuesday (October 1) — the fourth in the state since the announcement of the polls slated for October 5.

The Prime Minister will seek votes in favor of the Bharatiya Janata Party candidates in all nine Assembly constituencies of the district.
The party had benefited considerably from PM Modi's rally in the last elections.
During the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, PM Modi had addressed an election rally in Sector 61. Then, seven BJP MLAs were elected.

PM Modi in his earlier rally in Sonipat said that promises made by the Congress in its manifesto in Haryana need to be first implemented in Karnataka and Telangana, the two states which are currently under Congress rule.
Faridabad Police have issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth traffic flow and law and order.

So, in order to stop smooth flow of traffic and to keep law and order intact, there would be several restrictions that would take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

All kinds of heavy and light motor vehicles going into the district of Palwal from Faridabad and Delhi would be completely barred as per the advisory given.

The restrictions on vehicles going on Agra-Mathura Highway (NH-44).

Police advisory said that vehicles coming from Faridabad side can move towards Palwal via KMP/KGP, Vadodara Expressway instead of NH-44.

Those moving in the direction of the Vadodara Expressway shall come via Kaily to Jajru underpass.

Citizens are advised to avoid plying personal vehicles and come through public transport during restricted hours for congestion to be relieved.

The Haryana Assembly, which has a strength of 90, will go to the poll on October 5 and counting of votes on October 8.

As for the BJP, it's looking at achieving the hat-trick this time. For the Congress, it is a comeback bid in Haryana after its debacle of 2014.
