Left consolidates lead in Kerala as counting moves into top gear

According to present indications, the Left Democratic Front is leading in 93 seats while the Congress-led United Democratic Front in 44 and the BJP in three seats. The Left's stunning performance can be attributed to no one other than Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan who led from the front.
Railways to deliver 120 MT of medical oxygen to Delhi

Northern Railway spokesperson Deepak Kumar said that one container train with six cryogenic liquid oxygen containers loaded over BLC wagons started from Durgapur to Delhi at 2 p.m. on Saturday and is expected to reach Tughlakabad ICD on Sunday afternoon i.e. at around 1 p.m.

In the 140-member Kerala Assembly, according to the latest reports the Left leads in 80 constituencies while the Congress-led UDF is ahead in 58 and the BJP in two seats. All the exit polls had predicted a clear victory for the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left with a minimum of 75 seats and a maximum of 120 seats.
DMK alliance maintains lead in Tamil Nadu

Almost all the exit polls had predicted a major victory for the DMK-led front and true to the expectations of the poll pundits the front is leading comfortably after the second round of counting was completed.
BJP-led NDA leading in Assam

According to the Election Commission's initial trends of the results, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is leading on 27 seats while its ally Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) on six seats and United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) on six. The Congress has established initial leads only on five seats while its partners Bodoland Peoples Front on two seats and All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) on one seat.
