Congress leader and former finance minister P. Chidambaram on Saturday attacked the union government over mismanagement of Covid situation and said the boat with 130 crore people is sinking. Congress trounces BJP in 10 local body polls in Karnataka

Besides, high demand for such equipment has led to rising prices, and the move is seen as an effort to curb the rising cost of this equipment.

China is planning to develop a massive defence logistics infrastructure in Tibet that will turn the once independent kingdom into a military hub to dominate the Himalayas. PM holds meeting with empowered groups on Covid related issues

India to receive Sputnik V vaccine consignments from May 1
India is expected to receive 5 million doses of the vaccine by June. According to media reports, around 150,000 to 200,000 doses of the vaccine will be delivered by early May and another 3 million doses by May end.
