Jatayu Statue Takes Its Place at Ayodhya's Temple Complex

In the historic Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya, a bronze statue of the mythological vulture, Jatayu, has been unveiled at 'Kuber Tila'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to pay his respects to the idol on January 22, 2024, preceding the consecration ceremony.

The Trust's member, Giri, emphasized how Jatayu's sacrifice mirrors the struggles of countless devotees connected with the Ram temple issue in Kalyug. Anil Mishra highlighted the meticulous preparation involving a 5-foot stone mountain for the statue's installation.

Simultaneously, the Trust is renovating the ancient Shiv temple on 'Kuber Tila'. This site, witness to India's freedom movement, notably witnessed the hanging of Baba Ram Sharan Das and Maulvi Ameer Ali during the 1857 revolt's suppression by the British.
