Ayodhya: 50 Foreign Dignitaries Invited, Entry Strictly via Barcode Passes

The official invitation, signed by Champat Rai, extends an invitation to witness the momentous occasion of consecrating the new idol of Ram Lalla at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust's general secretary, Champat Rai, has disclosed plans to extend invitations to representatives from 50 foreign nations to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram temple on January 22.

The official invitation, signed by Champat Rai, extends an invitation to witness the momentous occasion of consecrating the new idol of Ram Lalla at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. The ceremony, scheduled for January 22, 2024, holds immense historical significance after a prolonged struggle for the construction of the temple.

VVIP guests will gain access through specially issued barcode passes, a part of the stringent entry process for the event. The invitation list of around 7,000 comprises approximately 4,000 religious leaders and individuals distinguished in various fields. A personalized link will be shared with invitees for registration, generating a barcode serving as their entry pass.

The families of 50 kar sevaks who lost their lives during the movement have been honored with invitations, alongside a diverse list of dignitaries including judges, scientists, writers, poets, saints, Shankaracharyas, retired army officers, musicians, Padma awardees, and more.

Champat Rai detailed the process of preparing three idols of Ram Lalla, sculpted from stones sourced from Karnataka and Rajasthan, with the final selection of the most exquisite idol for the consecration ceremony.

VHP spokesperson Sharad Sharma highlighted the inclusion of journalists who contributed to the Ram temple movement, underscoring their pivotal role in its success.

A roster of prominent figures including cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, Ratan Tata, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, and actors Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia, known for portraying Ram and Sita in the iconic TV series 'Ramayana,' have received invitations to attend this significant event in Ayodhya.
