After paying his respects, Home Minister Amit Shah was set to visit GMC Anantnag to see the victims of the attack. He is also set to take an aerial view of the spot where the ghastly attack occurred in Baisaran, Pahalgam.

Apart from the tribute, the authorities have also made arrangements for the repatriation of the bodies of the victims to their homes. The Civil Aviation Ministry had booked four more flights from Srinagar on Wednesday—two each for Mumbai and Delhi. In order to avoid the price of air travel going up because of the rush, an effort is being made to keep the fare prices low, as the Srinagar-Jammu Highway was closed for the fourth day in a row.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) also arrived in Srinagar to collect evidence pertaining to the terrorists involved in the attack. The NIA team is set to travel to Pahalgam to probe further and aid in the search for the terrorists. A mass-level search operation has been launched in the region.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the terror attack has only made the nation even more resolute to eradicate terrorism from Indian soil completely.
