Defence Ministry Secures Procurement Contracts Valued at Rs 39,125 Crore

Larsen & Toubro Limited secured two contracts for the procurement of a close-in weapon system (CIWS) and a high-power radar. Additionally, two other agreements were reached with BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited for the purchase of BrahMos missiles.

In its statement, the ministry emphasized that these contracts would bolster indigenous capabilities, promote savings in foreign exchange, and diminish reliance on foreign-origin equipment manufacturers in the future.
