Indira Gandhi International Airport is managed by a consortium led by the GMR Group and has three terminals—T1, T2, and T3—handling about 1,400 daily flight movements. T1 was earlier used for domestic flights by IndiGo and SpiceJet.

IndiGo has shifted 72 flights to T2 and T3 apart from shifting 17 flights to T3 from T1, keeping all its operations functional. SpiceJet also rescheduled its Delhi flights.

T1 operations remain suspended as a precautionary measure and investigations into the collapse of the canopy are on with DGCA and a technical committee set up by DIAL.
