PM Modi Commits to 'war-like efforts' Against NEET Paper Leaks

Referring to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the address of the President to the joint session of Parliament, he said that the government is determined to take stern action against the culprits. He told the House that arrests were continuous, and more stringent laws were being put into practice so that such incidents might not recur.

The Prime Minister of India, in the Lok Sabha, mentioned that their government at work is working like a strategy in wartime regarding the paper leaks recently, including the NEET incident.

Referring to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the address of the President to the joint session of Parliament, he said that the government is determined to take stern action against the culprits. He told the House that arrests were continuous, and more stringent laws were being put into practice so that such incidents might not recur.

"The government is extremely concerned about the NEET issue and is working on war footing to fulfill its responsibilities. Those involved in this will be dealt with sternly… People are being arrested continuously. We have already made a strong law in this regard," PM Modi said.

He assured every student and youth in the country that the government is unwavering in its commitment to addressing issues of paper leaks and the NEET issue.

He talked about firm approach, like war-time effort in diligently fulfilling their responsibilities.

PM Modi further said that those playing with the future of the youth won't be spared at all.

He cited the example of strict legislation and continuous efforts towards overall reform in the examination system. 

"The President mentioned paper leaks in her speech. I want to assure the students and the youth that the government is committed to dealing with such incidents seriously, and we are working incessantly and at a fast pace in the sense of urgency to take up the responsibility entrusted upon us," he added.

"Those who play with the future of youth will not be spared; arrests are being made all across the country in the NEET issue. Stringent laws have already been made by the Central government and at the same time, big improvements are being ensured in the whole examination system," the PM said.
