Citing Swami Vivekananda’s speech in Chicago 131 years ago, PM Modi reminded that the Indian figure had introduced Hinduism as a religion of tolerance to the world. He lamented that today, false campaigns are being run to “undermine and sully” the community.

Expressing strong disapproval of Rahul Gandhi’s “violent Hindus” comment, PM Modi emphasized that such “grave adventurism” will not be forgotten or forgiven by the nation for centuries.

He also mentioned the Congress leader’s “fight against Shakti” remark, highlighting that this is the same party that coined the term “Hindu terror.”

Continuing his criticism of the Congress, PM Modi stated, “Days ago, the party and its allies equated Hinduism with dengue and malaria. Today, the entire ecosystem mocks Hinduism and the Hindu faith.”

The Prime Minister also disapproved of displaying posters of Hindu deities in the House, emphasizing that every form of God is meant for reverence and worship, not for personal agendas.

“Jinke darshan hote hain, unke pradarshan nahin hote (invisible God is not meant for brandishing),” PM Modi remarked, referencing an incident when Rahul Gandhi waved Lord Shiva posters during his response to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address in Lok Sabha.
