Many officials hesitate to put a hand on renowned celebs as they are rich and powerful but Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officer Sameer Wankhede is the one daring officer who is no stranger to probing Bollywood celebs charged under drug cases.
On Saturday evening, Sameer headed a team of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) that busted the Goa-bound Cordelia cruise ship after the team received a tip-off that a drugs party was scheduled on board. Following the raid, Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and few others were detained and later arrested by the NCB.
Sameer Wankhede, the zonal director of the anti-drugs agency told media that drugs like ecstasy, cocaine, mephedrone, and charas were recovered from the cruise and a case had been registered, which investigation is under process.

This is not the first time when Wankhede has conducted such kind of raid. Prior to this, he led the high-profile investigation into the drugs racket following the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, which stirred many controversies in the industry.
Over the course of the year, the zonal director of the anti-drugs agency has arrested many celebrated stars like Armaan Kohli and has probed many Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor among many others.
Back in 2013, Wankhede who is married to Marathi actor Kranti Redkar, caught singer Mika Singh at the Mumbai airport with foreign currency, not just that he recently put Arjun Rampal’s girlfriend’s brother behind the bar in a Goa-based drug case.
