Ranveer Singh, set to reprise his role as Sangram 'Simmba' Bhalerao in the upcoming movie 'Singham Again', delighted fans by sharing a glimpse of his wife Deepika Padukone as the fierce cop Shakti Shetty.
Taking to his Instagram stories on Monday, Ranveer posted a snapshot of Deepika donning her character's police uniform, striking the iconic 'Singham' pose with flair.
Accompanying the image, Ranveer captioned it with a simple yet impactful "Sherni," accompanied by a lioness emoji, perfectly capturing the essence of Deepika's portrayal.
Adding to the excitement, the actor set the backdrop with the title track of 'Singham', enhancing the anticipation for the film.
This isn't the first time fans got a glimpse of Deepika's formidable character. Previously, both Deepika and the film's director, Rohit Shetty, unveiled her look on social media on April 19.
Deepika's initial reveal as the fierce cop was back during Navratri last year. The image showcased her in a commanding stance, holding a goon captive, with a chilling intensity in her eyes and her uniform bearing the marks of her tumultuous encounters.
In a recent development, Ranveer, who was last seen in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', found himself at the center of a deepfake controversy. In response, he took to his social media platforms to alert his followers about the proliferation of deep-fake technology and advised them to scrutinize information carefully before accepting it at face value.
