Jolly LLB 3 Kickstarts Filming with a Quirky Video Starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi

Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi have started the filming for the much-awaited film 'Jolly LLB 3' with their star cast diving straight into action. Recently, Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi had kept the fans excited with a little sneak peek of their banter through a social media post.

The little conversation in the clip between the two was about who, really, carries the character of Jolly within them. Arshad said he was the actual Jolly, portraying Advocate Jagdish Tyagi, while Akshay jumped in, protesting, "I am the real Advocate Jagdishwar 'Jolly' Mishra."

What added to the hype was the presence of veteran actor Saurabh Shukla in the series, reprising his role as Judge Sunderlal Tripathi, which marked the start of filming for real. He appeared with a placard that read, "Shoot begins for 'Jolly LLB3'".

'Jolly LLB' series, begun with the 2013 blockbuster hit, featuring Arshad Warsi, is known for its cocktail mix of courtroom drama and dark comedy, directed by writer-director Subhash Kapoor.

The first part of the franchise saw Arshad play the title character, who gets embroiled in a hit-and-run case against a prestigious lawyer.

The second part, directed by Akshay Kumar, came out in 2017. It had the character of Jagdishwar Mishra, who has taken up the cause of seeking justice in a case of extrajudicial killing enacted by a cop gone rogue, who plays the character of Kumud Mishra. It has the professional nuances of the judicial process in depth as Jagdishwar fought against all odds and for justice.
