Prime Video Unveils Exciting New Seasons of 'Pataal Lok', 'Mirzapur', and 'Panchayat

Stepping into hosting duties, "The Family Man" star Manoj Bajpayee, following Karan Johar and Shahid Kapoor, unveiled the lineup of returning titles. "Paatal Lok" gears up for its second season, promising an enthralling narrative as Jaideep Ahlawat's Hathiram and Ishwak Singh's Ansari team up to unravel a complex web of mysteries. Sudip Sharma, the show's creator, joins forces with actor Abhishek Banerjee, Tamal Sen, and Rahul Kanojia as writers for the sophomore season, helmed by director Avinash Arun and produced by Karnesh Sharma of Clean Slate Filmz. Joining the cast are acclaimed actors Tillotama Shome, Jahnu Barua, Gul Panag, Nagesh Kukunoor, and Anurag Arora.

Prime Video, during its Prime Video Presents event, tantalized viewers with glimpses of the upcoming seasons of its popular series including "Pataal Lok 2", “Mirzapur", and "Panchayat". Alongside these fan favorites, the streaming platform also announced the return of "Bandish Bandits" and the Tamil original "Suzhal - The Vortex", making a grand total of five highly anticipated projects slated for release in 2024.

Developed by Apurva Dhar Badgaiyan, the series is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer, boasting a stellar cast including Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Harshita Gaur, and Priyanshu Painyuli.
 

Continuing its partnership with The Viral Fever, Prime Video announces the return of "Panchayat" for a third season, starring Jitendra Kumar. Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and written by Chandan Kumar, the series promises a gripping narrative as political tensions rise in the lead-up to the Panchayat elections.

"Bandish Bandits" returns for its second season, with Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhary navigating the complexities of a nationwide band competition while grappling with their evolving relationship. Created by Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari, the series features a talented ensemble cast including Sheeba Chadha, Divya Dutta, and Atul Kulkarni.

Prime Video's first Tamil original series, "Suzhal - The Vortex", also makes a comeback with its second season. Created by Pushkar & Gayatri, the crime thriller stars Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Lal, promising an intense narrative set against the backdrop of the Ashtakaali Festival in Kaalipattanam. The second season, written by Bramma and Sarjun and produced by Wallwatcher Films, delves deeper into the shadows of the past with protagonist Sakkarai (Kathir) taking on a new case that unravels long-buried secrets.
