The makers have released a motion poster of 'Aazam' unveiling Jimmy's look as Javed where he is shown in a grey character. In the poster, Jimmy is seen in Mumbai's iconic Gateway of India. Jimmy said: "I play the role of Javed, a close associate of Nawab Khan, who is one of the most powerful dons in the city's underworld. Javed is a complex character with shades of grey, and I had a great time exploring his motivations and psyche."

Earlier on Monday, Lapid said that the IFFI was disturbed about this film. Sharing the experience of the jury, he said that 14 out of them (international films) had cinematic quality. "All of us were disturbed and shocked by the 15th film 'The Kashmir Files'. That felt to us like a propaganda, vulgar movie, inappropriate for an artistic competitive section of such a prestigious film festival," Lapid added.

Hits for the service include Alia Bhatt's 'Gangubai Kathiyawadi', pan-India blockbuster 'RRR' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', starring Kartik Aaryan and Tabu. Shergill also pointed out in an interview with 'Variety', coinciding with the streamer's Films Day on Monday, that Indian movies featured in the Netflix non-English charts for 31 of the last 34 weeks. Another hit Alia film has been 'Darlings', whose story revolving around domestic abuse, which debuted as the biggest non-English language original film opener for the service worldwide.
