Supernatural Thriller 'Shaitaan' Surpasses Rs 100 Crore Milestone at the Box Office

The supernatural thriller "Shaitaan" has continued its impressive streak at the box office, raking in Rs 24.41 crore during its second weekend run, pushing its total earnings to Rs 106.01 crore, as announced by the producers on Monday.

Featuring the stellar cast of Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and R Madhavan, the film initially made waves by collecting Rs 81.60 crore during its debut weekend, hitting theaters on March 8.

Jointly presented by Jio Studios, Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios, "Shaitaan" is helmed by a team including Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.

The movie's unyielding hold over the audience was evident in its second weekend, with it amassing Rs 10.17 crore on Sunday alone, contributing to a weekend tally of Rs 24.41 crore.

Breaking down the numbers, the film amassed Rs 81.60 crore in its first week, followed by Rs 5.12 crore on the second Friday, Rs 9.12 crore on Saturday, and Rs 10.17 crore on Sunday, bringing the total second weekend earnings to Rs 24.41 crore. Overall, it has collected Rs 106.01 crore NBOC in India and a staggering Rs 152.11 crore in Worldwide Gross.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, "Shaitaan" is a Hindi adaptation of the 2023 Gujarati horror flick "Vash," originally penned and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik.
