The International beauty pageant Miss Universe was won by India's Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu. She was crowned the prestigious title on 12 December in Eilat, Israel. Sandhu won the title by defeating Paraguay's Nadia Ferreira and South Africa's Lalela Mswane. With this title she also becomes the third Indian woman who has the Miss Universe in her name, earlier Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta were crowned with the title in 1994 and 2000 respectively. 1. The Crown
1. The title that advocates the humanitarian cause to become a voice that brings about positive changes in the world, includes a crown which is the most expensive crown of the world. With an estimated worth of US$5 million, or Rs 37 crores, it is the costliest crown in the world. The official name of the crown that Harnaaz Sandhu won is the 'Miss Universe Mouawad Power of Unity Crown'.
2. Prize Money
According to the media reports, Harnaaz has won the whopping prize money of USD 250,000 which is around Rs 1.89 crores in Indian rupees. However, its not confirmed by the Miss Universe Organisation.

3. Apartment in New York
The Miss Universe winner can have access to the Miss Universe apartment in New York for a year however she has to share it with Miss USA. Anything to everything in the apartment will be arranged by the Miss Universe Organisation.
4. A team of Professional experts
Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu will now get her own team of assistants which includes make-up artists, photographers, stylists, dermatologists, nutrition experts, dentists, etc., and their expenses would be taken care of by the Miss Universe Organisation.
5. Free travel and exclusive entry
The beauty queen is provided free entry to exclusive events, parties, premieres and screening. She also has an opportunity to tour the world throughout the year with Miss Universe Organisation where the organisation will take care of the accommodation and food charges.

6. Gets Responsibilities too
'With great power comes great responsibility', Miss Universe also has to perform a set of responsibilities for a year as she becomes the chief ambassador for the Miss Universe Organisation. She has to attend press conferences, charities, parties, and events hosted by the institution.
