17-year-old Cherisha Chanda wins Miss Eco Teen Pageant

The world's largest beauty contest, Miss Eco Teen, has its headquarters in Egypt. There are 25 participating nations in the competition. Cherisha Chanda, Miss Teen Diva 2021's runner-up, was chosen to represent India in the Miss Eco Teen Pageant. The international pageant promotes environmental awareness and partners with the current champion in a number of environmental initiatives. The recipient is also given the opportunity to participate actively in UNEP.
A whiff of ancient beauty with French flair

GBS and JCB hosted an experiential for the leading ladies of the beauty industry that kicked off with an assortment of traditional beauty rituals starting from hair, skin as well as beauty tools. The event was co-hosted by beauty editor Aparrna Gupta while recreating natural Sandal Dar Rejuvenating massage, manicure, pedicure, and nail art experiences for the guests with the brand's certified products.

From July 1st, the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change has prohibited the manufacturing, importing, stocking, distribution, sale, and use of single-use plastic items. Miss India Organisation translates its scouting operations into the digital media space, in pursuit of beauty ambassadors. The pageant in its virtual format for the second time now has launched a nationwide hunt to select representatives each from the 28 states and a representative from Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir besides a collective representative from the Union Territories making for a total of 31 finalists.
