The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay on Wednesday launched the registration process for Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) and Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED). Interested candidates can access the application forms from the official websites of CEED and UCEED which are ceed.iitb.ac.in and uceed.iitb.ac.in.
The last date to apply for both exams is 10th October with a standard fee. With a late fee charge, one can apply till 17th October.
CEED and UCEED are designing entrances by IIT Bombay and the CEED exams are for postgraduation while the UCEED is for undergraduate designing courses. The courses include designing degrees and specializations ranging from product designing to visual communication. Now, students, have the opportunity to be IIT-marked graduates with designing degrees too.
To be eligible to apply for the examinations, the applicants need to have a 12 pass certification or an equivalent exam clear certification. The admissions post clearing the examinations are often placed at the IIT centers of Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur depending on the rankings.
How to apply:
For filling in the applications the candidates will require details like their personal email ID and their mobile number. Following are the steps :
1. Visit the official websites of UCEED-uceed.iitb.ac.in or CEED-ceed.iitb.ac.in
2. On the displayed homepage, click on the registration link
3. Enter email ID to complete the registration
4. The application form will be displayed on the screen
5. Fill the form with the asked details
6. Upload the required documents.
7. Pay the application fees through mentioned gateways
8. Download the application form for further use
