No student, staff can enter the school without thermal scanning: Delhi govt
Schools have also been advised to ask students to not share lunch and stationery items, the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the city government stated. Parents should be advised to not send their ward to school if the child or any member in the family tests positive or shows Covid symptoms. All entry and exit gates of school buildings should be used to avoid crowding at the time of entry and exit of students, the guidelines said.

'Do not enroll in Pakistan for higher education': UGC, AICTE advise Indian students
"All concerned are advised not to travel to Pakistan for pursuing higher education. Any Indian national or Overseas Citizen of India who intends to take admissions to any degree college or educational institution of Pakistan shall not be eligible for seeking employment or higher studies in India on the basis of such educational qualifications (in any subject) acquired in Pakistan," the advisory read.

“NEET-MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948 (amended from time to time). No other entrance examination, either at the state or the Institution level, shall be valid for entry to MDS courses. Qualifying NEET-MDS is mandatory for entry to MDS courses under various Universities/ Institutions in the country,” read the information bulletin.

CBSE Session 2022-23: Two-term board examinations for the upcoming session scrapped
The pandemic was making it difficult for the officials over how to evaluate students and on what terms because schools were going in offline mode only. CBSE had to come up with a solution for it by making a two-term system for the pandemic period. Two-term system of CBSE means the board examinations were conducted in two parts in a single year.
Delhi schools to continue in offline mode for time being despite surge in Covid cases
Experts have advised Delhi officials on the closing of schools again amid rising cases in the National Capital. Schools in Delhi will not be closed, officials said on Wednesday. "Schools will not be closed and will continue with offline classes. Schools have been asked to report all cases to the education department and ensure that Covid protocols are followed strictly. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is constantly monitoring the situation in schools," a senior official said.
UP universities to adopt grading systems
The move is in consonance with NEP and aims at assessing learning goals. Principal Secretary, Higher Education, Monika Garg has asked universities, including those run privately, to implement the grading system. According to the system, a student scoring between 91 and 100 in any course/paper of any major, minor subject, co-curricular and vocational subjects will be awarded a grade point of 10 and grade letter of O (Outstanding).
NEET-UG Counselling 2021: MCC to now conduct stray vacancy round for untaken MBBS seats
The stray vacant round will be opening to fill up 325 MBBS seats. The details for the vacancy of the seats are available on the official website of MCC- mcc.nic.in. The chance to participate in the vacancy round will be given to the candidates who have yet not taken admissions in any India quota or state quota. Candidates who will be alloted with the seats have to report to their respective institutes and join the seats by showing their original documents.

The registration process has been reopened due to the demand of a large section that could not fill their applications because of the clash of dates of entrance examinations and their board examinations. However, now NTA has rescheduled the dates for JEE Mains and the students now wish to apply again for it.
