NEET UG 2022: NTA extends registration deadline, check new date here

NEET is scheduled to be conducted in around 543 cities in India and 14 cities outside India. The exam will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The application fee for candidates from the general category is Rs 1600. The application fee for candidates in the General-EWS/OBC-NCL category is Rs 1500. Students from the SC/ST/PwBD/third gender categories must pay an application fee of Rs 900.


The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline to apply for the NEET UG entrance examination 2022. Interested candidates can now apply till May 15, 2022( up to 9 pm). Earlier the deadline to submit applications was May 6, 2022, which is now extended by a week. Eligible candidates can register on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in.

The duration of the examination will be 3 hours and 20 minutes, i.e. 200 minutes. The exam will be held only in a single shift from 2 pm to 5:30 pm. As per the latest notice the exam will be held on July 17.

Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the page displayed and click on the link that reads ‘Fill Registration Form.

Step 5: Pay the fee for submission
