Principal's re-appointment invalid, DU tells St Stephen's, UGC
The varsity's Joint Registrar, in a letter to the St Stephen's governing board Chairman P.C. Singh, said that norms were violated, making the re-appointment of Varghese flawed and invalid, and the University is bound not to recognise Varghese as the Principal. A copy of the letter was also sent to the Secretary of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
CUET UG admissions: 'Merit list to be based on normalised scores not percentile'
According to the University Grants Commission (UGC), the merit list to be released by the unversities will be based on normalised scores and not on the percentile.

CUET-UG 2022 results declared, 20,000 students score 100 pc in 30 subjects
About 20,000 students have scored 100 percentile in 30 subjects in these examinations taken for admission to undergraduate courses. According to NTA, the highest number of 100 percentilers were in English at 8,236, followed by Political Science (2,065), Business Studies (1,669), Biology (1,324) and 1,188 Economics.

NTA to announce CUET (UG) result today
UGC chairman Prof M Jagadesh Kumar said the result will be declared around 10 p.m. The examination was conducted for admission in 91 universities spread across the country. Earlier, the result was scheduled to be announced by Thursday afternoon.

Students can download their results and final answers key from the official website - jeeadv.ac.in. This year, all the top 10 students are boys. Among females, Tanishka Kabra has topped by obtaining Rank 16. A total of 155538 candidates appeared for JEE advanced of which only 40712 candidates have qualified. Successful Candidates can apply for Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) counseling, the counseling process began on Monday, September 12.
DU admissions: CSAS portal launched for UG courses
According to Professor Yogesh Singh, Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, the new session of the university can start from November 1. The Vice Chancellor said that the Common Seat Allocation System portal has been started for undergraduate courses from Monday.
JEE-Advanced result out, RK Shishir of IIT Bombay zone tops
R.K. Shishir is the topper among the students whose names are included in the list of top 10 in JEE-Advanced exam. Polu Lakshmi Sai came at number two, Thomas Biju at number three, Vangapalli Sai Siddharth at number four and Mayank Motwani of IIT Delhi zone came at number five. Polishetty Kartikeya is at 6th position, Prateek Sahu is 7th, Dheeraj Kurukunda is 8th in All India Rank.
