The results of CUET exams are likely to declared a few days after September 11. Keeping that in mind, DU would share information regarding admissions on September 12. According to University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman M. Jagadeesh Kumar, the results of CUET exams are expected to be announced by September 15, or even a day or two before that date.
US education delegation coming to enhance academic ties with India

The US Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) will explore partnerships with the Indian education sector during the delegation visits to Mumbai, Bengaluru and New Delhi between September 12-16. The delegation will comprise representatives of 21 US HEIs from 15 US states which will go around the three major Indian cities, against the backdrop of India's New Education Policy-2020.

Rajasthan’s Tanishka has topped the medical entrance exam with a 99.9997733 percentile score. A total of 993069 students have passed the exam. However, Tanishka was declared the all-India topper through the tie-breaker method. “Candidates who scored identical marks are accorded ranks as per the tie-breaker rule where the candidate with higher marks in biology is ranked above the rest. In the case of identical marks in biology, the same rule is applied for chemistry followed by physics. Even after this, if the scores remain identical, the elder candidate gets the higher rank,” a NTA official said.

Once the results are out, candidates can check their results on the official website - neet.nta.nic.in or at the NTA website as well -  nta.ac.in. Earlier on August 31, 2022, NTA released the answer key for the NEET UG 2022 exam. Along with the answer key, NTA also released the OMR sheet. If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the answer key/ recorded response, he/she is allowed to raise the objection and challenge it up to 02 September 2022 (up to 11:50 P.M.) However, a non-refundable fee of Rs200 per question was charged.

Interested candidates can register themselves on the official website-- aiimsexams.ac.in. The application process will end on September 26. while the entrance exam will be held on November 13. "All applicants who have applied earlier and whose basic registrations have been 'Accepted' for January 2019, July 2019, January 2020, July 2020, January 2021, July 2021 session, January 2022, and July 2022, are not required to complete registration and basic information again," AIIMS notification read.

A national vision emerges on unified higher education system

Under this, all courses will be made available in higher education institutions of the country and the colleges with 3,000 or more students will become degree-granting multi-disciplinary autonomous institutions. With these changes, on one hand students will get more options than before, while on the other the education institutions will get more autonomy. Efforts are being made to build a consensus to implement these changes. For this, all the higher education institutions across the country have been contacted.
Pichai pledges $20 mn to train 11 mn students in computer science

No relief for Indian students waiting to join Canadian universities, visa delays continue

In a weekly presser, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said on Thursday, "It is an important issue. We have taken up the matter with Canada to make sure that students are not affected. We will continue to take measures to help the Indian students who want to go abroad for studies."
