PM Modi and UAE President Commend Rapidly Evolving Bilateral Ties; 4 MoUs Signed Ahead of Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan convened for a bilateral meeting, lauding the swiftly evolving India-UAE partnership. During their interaction, four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were sealed between India and the UAE, one of which involved collaboration between the Gujarat government and DP World, a prominent multinational logistics company headquartered in Dubai.

Jaiswal detailed the MoUs, emphasizing agreements on investment cooperation in renewable energy, innovative healthcare projects, and the development of a food park between India and the UAE.

PM Modi personally welcomed President Al Nahyan at the Ahmedabad airport, following which the leaders participated in an evening roadshow. Modi expressed his honor at the visit in a tweet, reflecting the enduring friendship between the nations.

Al Nahyan's presence as the chief guest at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, inaugurated by PM Modi at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Gandhinagar, signifies the significance of this collaboration. The summit, initiated in 2003 during Modi's tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, serves as a pivotal platform for global business partnerships, knowledge exchange, and sustainable development.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi engaged in bilateral discussions with President of Timor-Leste Jose Ramos-Horta and Mozambique President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, followed by meetings with CEOs from leading global corporations. He also inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show, further underscoring the forum's importance in fostering inclusive growth and strategic alliances.
