Toyota recalls around 168K vehicles over fire risk
"The subject vehicles are equipped with a plastic fuel tube which could move and rub against a brake line and develop a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of fire," Toyota said in a recall notice. "For all involved vehicles, Toyota dealers will replace the fuel tube with an improved part and additional clamps at no cost to customers," it added.

Backed by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway, BYD delivered 253,046 cars last month, a 5.3 per cent increase over the 239,092 cars delivered in May, it said in a filing to the Hong Kong stock exchange, reports the South China Morning Post. BYD delivered 1.26 million vehicles to customers in the first quarter of 2023, almost double the figure a year ago.
