TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 iteration of its best-selling performance bike, the Apache RTR 200 4V, on June 9, 2025.
Launched as part of celebrations for two decades of the Apache brand, the new one comes in with a whole range of updates and is priced at ₹1,53,990 (ex-showroom Delhi). It will be sold through TVS dealerships in India.
For 2025, the Apache RTR 200 4V has received OBD2B (On-Board Diagnostics) compliance, in addition to a newly designed 37mm Upside Down (USD) front fork and revised hydroformed handlebar for better handling and ergonomics. The motorcycle also wears new styling, including red alloy wheels and new graphics, in three color options: Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey.
Beneath the hood, the Apache gets its tried and tested 197.75cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 20.8 PS at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm torque at 7,250 rpm. Three riding modes—Urban, Sport, and Rain—can be toggled between by riders for ride modification according to road conditions. The motorcycle also has dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch, and adjustable brake and clutch levers for better control and comfort for the rider.
Tech-savvy motorcyclists will enjoy the TVS SmartXonnect technology, which provides Bluetooth connectivity and voice-enabled functions. A completely digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, and signature Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) complete the motorcycle's sleek features.
Launched first in 2016, the Apache RTR 200 4V pioneered its class with the ride modes. It also got dual-channel ABS with Rear Lift-Off Protection (RLP) and a full-LED lighting setup later. The new bike takes it to the next level by going further with more sophisticated hardware and rider-oriented features.
