Ankita case: Father refuses cremation till final post-mortem report comes

Ankita's father Virendra Bhandari said, "The government has tampered with the evidence by running a bulldozer on resort at midnight. Ankita's last rites will be performed only when the final post-mortem report is received. I am not satisfied with the post-mortem report that has come at the moment. Heavy rainfall cripples Gurugram; disrupts normal life

More than 50 places in the city including major key points on the expressway was submerged in rain triggered flood-water on Saturday. A road near Iffco Chowk also caved in due to heavy rains. Videos and images of the caved-in road were widely spread on the social media. Police have barricaded the area to avoid any incident. Due to heavy rainfall, the Gurugram administration has closed all underpasses and subways for non-motorised transport (NMT), and pedestrians for public use.
Rain drenches Delhi for third day, traffic hit across city

The Delhi Traffic Police issued several advisories for the commuters and asked them to plan their journey accordingly, as many roads in the city were affected by waterlogging, uprooting of trees and potholes due to incessant rains for the past few days. Waterlogging was seen on the following roads -- Firni road near Dhansa bus stand in Najafgarh, Abai road near Abai Marg in Chanakyapuri, Aurobindo Marg near Adchini red light, and Rohtak Road near Rajdhani Park metro station.
PFI created several dummy organisations to fool agencies: Sources

Sources claimed that PFI members knew that the government will take action against them due to their suspicious activities and hence they created a number of dummy organisations to mislead the intelligence agencies. "The Campus Front of India, Rehab India Foundation, National Women's Front, All India Legal Council, SDPI -- these are all dummy organisations created by the PFI," the sources said.
Over 11K flats to be handed over to Amrapali home buyers in 2-3 months, SC told

The court receiver, senior advocate R Venkataramani submitted that 5428 flats, which have been completed by NBCC, will be handed over to home buyers, along with water and electricity connections, next month in the festive season. The bench of Chief Justice U.U. Lalit and Justice Bela M. Trivedi said that giving possession of over 11,000 flats out of 38,000 flats is an important development.
Kartavya Path to have its own police station

The police station will come under the jurisdiction of New Delhi district which already has 11 police stations and the 'Kartavya Path' police station will be 12th in the district. According to a government notification, the local areas which have been excluded from the jurisdiction of Police Stations Tilak Marg, South Avenue and Parliament Street respectively, shall cover the area henceforth.
SC to hear petitions challenging scrapping of Article 370 after Dussehra vacation

A counsel contended before a bench headed by Chief Justice U.U. Lalit that the petitions were supposed to get listed after the summer vacation, but they were not listed for hearing.The bench, also comprising Justices Indira Banerjee and S. Ravindra Bhat, told the counsel that the petitions will be listed.
Rain batters Delhi-NCR, more showers predicted

The Gurugram Administration issued an advisory to private institutions and corporate offices to guide their employees to work from home to avoid traffic congestion on roads. Kerala bandh: PFI protesters go on rampage as 19 activists arrested
