UP revises timings of all madrasas

PFI leaders, cadres go into hiding after ban
Sources in the state police told IANS that many of the leaders and cadres who were present in public after the September 22 raids and arrest of senior leaders by the NIA are now not seen in public. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana extended by 3 months

The scheme was coming to an end on September 30, after it had been extended in March 2022 for a period of six months more. A total of 122 lakh metric tonnes of food grains would be distributed during this period, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur told media persons.

A total burden of Rs 12,852 crore would be borne by the exchequer towards payment of these allowances for the current fiscal, official sources said. Delhi Excise policy case: ED arrests businessman Sameer Mahendru
On Tuesday, the CBI had arrested Mahendru's aide Vijay Nair in connection with the same scam. Mahendru happens to be ED's first arrest in the matter. Earlier, the ED had raided his house in Jor Bagh area of New Delhi along with forensic and technical teams.
