According to data released by the Uttar Pradesh Police, it has gunned down as many as 168 listed criminals in exchange of fire, most of them carrying cash rewards ranging from Rs 75,000 to Rs five lakh on their head. The Police have arrested 4,557 persons in encounters from a total of 22,234 criminals arrested from March 20, 2017, to November 20, 2022.

The officials from FSL, as per protocol, also went to the court on Tuesday to verify the order of the copy for polygraph test.
In the court, the judge allowed police to go ahead with the polygraph test to unravel the truth, while another court extended Aftab's police custody by four more days.

"I was provoked because of which I hit," said Poonawalla in Saket court where he was produced before a metropolitan magistrate through video conferencing as his police custody ends on Tuesday, claimed his lawyer. The court extended his police custody by four more days.
Shraddha murder case: Aftab to be taken for medical check-up, Narco test likely today
As Aftab's five-day police custody ends on Tuesday, the Delhi Police is racing against time to get the tests conducted at Dr B.R. Ambedkar hospital in Rohini. According to sources, police have officially contacted Rohini FSL to get his narco test done but it's not yet confirmed whether it will be conducted on Monday.
