11 workers from Bihar charred to death in Hyderabad

Eleven migrant workers from Bihar were charred to death in a huge fire that broke out at a scrap godown in Secunderabad here early Wednesday, police said. The incident occurred in the godown in IDH Colony of Bhoiguda area in Secunderabad around 4 a.m. Police said one person managed to jump out of the fire and he was rushed to Gandhi Hospital.
No prohibitory order on watching 'The Kashmir Files', says revised order in Kota

"In view of festivals like Mahavir Jayanti, Good Friday, Vaisakhi etc., as well as the screening of the film 'The Kashmir Files', it is necessary to ban crowd gatherings, demonstrations and processions. Section 144 will be applicable in the district from March 22 to April 21. That is, more than five people can not gather at one place for one month," read Monday's order.
'The Kashmir Files': Section 144 CrPC imposed in Rajasthan's Kota

A circular from Kota Collector Rajkumar Singh said: "Section 144 will remain in force in the district from 6 a.m. on March 22 to 12 p.m. on April 21." Gatherings, protests and road march will be banned during the said period, the circular issued on Monday further said. The order will not be applicable to government programmes, Covid vaccination, among others.

On 4th March,  BCAS had issued a new guideline that barred Sikh employees from wearing Kirpan while working at airports across the country which was objected to by the Sikh community. Teach Gita to students but do not impose on others: Deoband clerics

Reacting to the recent decision of the Gujarat government making the 'Bhagvad Gita' a part of the school syllabus from classes 6 to 12, Maulana Qari Ishaq Gora, the patron of Jamiat Dawat-ul Muslameen, a social organisation based in Deoband, said that the government must first get the students' consent and teach 'only those who are willing'. "It is a good thing to read and know about the holy books of all faiths. I have read the holy book of my religion, and of other religions too. I have read the 'Gita'. But I feel that it is not appropriate to impose a religion or its holy texts on anyone," he said.
