Former US representative Devin Nunes will be the CEO of the platform. He has promised a safe, family friendly platform. "We want to be very family-friendly, we want this to be a very safe place, and we are focused on making sure any illegal content is not on the site," Nunes said in an interview with Fox Business.

President Trump announced last year in October that he would be launching his own platform which would challenge the monopoly of the big tech (reference to Twitter and Facebook). “We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favourite American President has been silenced. This is unacceptable… I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon. TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all. I’m excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech,” Trump had said in a statement.
