Former President Donald Trump told a Pennsylvania rally last weekend that Democratic Party bosses are propping up Kamala Harris as a "puppet candidate" who is "entirely scripted, owned, and controlled" by powerful donors and power brokers. The former president lambasted his likely 2024 presidential election opponent as he addressed his thousands-strong following in the same state where he narrowly escaped an assassination attempt on July 13.
Trump, 78, claimed Harris had been selected by the "radical left" to act in their interests alone. He denounced her as being wholly puppeteered by her campaign people backstage, who gain from government affairs. "Kamala Harris has zero votes of her own. She's entirely scripted, controlled, and owned by the donors and the power brokers who created her campaign and are exploiting our government for massive profits," Trump said.
With less than a week to the November 5 presidential election, Trump intensified his attacks on Harris. According to polls, 59-year-old Harris has recently been closing the gap against her Republican opponent. Trump likewise accused Harris of lying about how President Joe Biden is mentally and physically unfit; now she is undergoing a "personality makeover" from earlier claims of her being the most terrible Vice President and ineffective in the country's history. He made the remarks in front of 15,000 people at the rally where tons of his supporters waited in lines that stretched more than a mile and had to wait for hours.
