Russian defense enterprises have successfully met the country's orders for 2023, achieving notable progress in the production of Su-57 fighters, according to Yury Slyusar, General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation.
Slyusar stated, "We have fulfilled the state defense orders. We have fulfilled all signed contracts according to the schedule. Everything has been delivered on time, and sometimes even ahead of the schedule."
Highlighting the substantial increase in some orders, he mentioned that the production of Su-57 aircraft has doubled under the state defense orders for the current year.
The General Director emphasized that the Russian defense ministry has received all the ordered aircraft, and there are expectations for a further increase in state defense orders in 2024.
The Su-57, a 5th-generation multirole fighter, boasts capabilities for aerial combat, ground attacks, and maritime strikes. It incorporates advanced features such as stealth, super-maneuverability, super-cruise, integrated avionics, and a large internal payload capacity.
