In the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, the Gaza-based Health Ministry reported on Monday that a total of 20,674 Palestinians lost their lives, with 54,536 others sustaining injuries since October 7.
Over the past 24 hours, Israeli forces conducted 25 air and ground operations across the enclave, resulting in the unfortunate death of 250 Palestinians, as stated by the ministry and reported by Xinhua news agency.
Condemning Israel for disregarding international calls to cease the military offensive against Palestinian civilians and to restrain settler militias, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry stressed the necessity of a United Nations Security Council ceasefire resolution. This resolution is seen as vital to facilitating a safe and swift delivery of aid, as well as ensuring the security of Palestinian civilians in the conflict zone.
