The Russian Investigative Committee announced that it possesses evidence indicating the intentions of the terrorists involved in the assault on a Moscow concert hall. According to their findings, the terrorists had planned to cross into Ukraine to claim their promised reward.
Following directives from a coordinator, the terrorists embarked on a journey towards the Russian-Ukrainian border post-incident, aiming to transit into Kiev and collect their pledged compensation, as disclosed by the committee through their Telegram channel on Friday.
Moreover, it was revealed that an individual operating under an alias assumed a pivotal role in coordinating the terrorists' activities both during the preparation phase and subsequent to the attack on the concert venue. This coordination primarily took place through audio messages conveyed via Telegram, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
Additionally, the committee disclosed the detention of a ninth suspect associated with the attack on Friday, expanding the scope of their investigation.
