In the article in The Times of Israel, Italian journalist and geopolitical analyst Sergio Restelli noted that the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) reported in 2025 that "Chinese dual-use components had been found in Houthi missiles and drones (UAVs)" showing that Chinese companies had supported the provision of technology to transnational, non-state armed groups.

The move, issued by the Department of State on Monday, is a follow-up to the organisation's previous designation as a "specially designated global terrorist" (SDGT) organisation in 2019. Alternatively referred to as the Majeed Brigade, the BLA was first assigned the initial SDGT designation following a series of fatal attacks in the year.
America Shouldn't Have Imposed Tariffs on India over Russian oil: Survey in US

The survey comes after US President Donald Trump announced higher tariffs on Indian goods last week after India continued its purchases of Russian oil and further exacerbated his trade disputes. The new tariffs will raise the tariff on Indian goods to a 25 percent tariff on top of an existing 25 percent, which means 50 percent tariffs will become amongst the steepest tariffs applied to any of the United States trading partners.
