Work on TAPI project to resume soon: Taliban
The Taliban government said work on the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) gas pipeline will resume soon and rejected a media report claiming the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has paused all activities related to the project.
Russia hits back with export bans
Russia has hit back at western sanctions for invading Ukraine by imposing export bans on a string of products until the end of 2022, BBC reported. The ban covers exports of telecom, medical, vehicle, agricultural and electrical equipment, as well as some forestry products such as timber. The economy ministry said further measures could include restricting foreign ships from Russian ports.
'N.Korea tests new ICBM system, US to impose additional sanctions'
North Korea's two most recent missile launches were aimed at testing a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) system ahead of a possible full-fledged ICBM test, a senior US official has said, adding the US plans to take action that will hinder Pyongyang's nuclear and missile programs. North Korea earlier confirmed launching missiles on February 27 and March 4, claiming they were aimed at developing a reconnaissance satellite, Yonhap news agency reported.
We have not criticised India's position on Ukraine: German Ambassador
Stressing that Germany has not criticised India's position on Ukraine, the German Ambassador to India, Walter J. Lindner told IANS that the German government has not put any pressure on India or any other country to take sides on the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian conflict. He however stressed that no country has the right to invade a neighbouring one with a massive army, impose its will, change borders and cause death and destruction.

Russia says maternity hospital has been under control of Ukrainian paramilitary group
The building had been used as a base by the far-right Azov Battalion of the Ukrainian National Guard, the top Russian diplomat claimed on Thursday, during a press conference in Turkey, RT reported. The hospital in question has been for days under the control of a Ukrainian paramilitary group and Moscow presented evidence of this to the UN Security Council several days ago, Lavrov said.

Moscow's forces move within a few miles of Kiev outskirts

Russia leaves Council of Europe
Russia has left the Council of Europe, the continent's leading human rights organisation, the Foreign Ministry in Moscow announced on Thursday. In a statement, the Ministry said that the European Union and NATO countries "are using their absolute majority in the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers to continue the destruction of the Council of Europe and the common humanitarian and legal space" on the continent, reports Xinhua news agency.
