Nine severe hepatitis cases in children were reported in Alabama during October 2021 to February 2022, seven girls and two boys -- ranging in age from 1 month to 6 years old, Xinhua news agency reported. Those cases were the first that drew attention to the liver illnesses in children in the US. All of the nine children's whole blood specimens tested positive for adenovirus.
China silences prominent market analyst
Over the weekend, Tencent's WeChat froze the public account of Hong Hao, managing director and head of research at BOCOM International, the investment banking arm of Bank of Communications, a state-owned bank and China's fifth largest lender, CNN reported. Russia prepares to announce mass mobilisation on May 9: Ukrainian Intelligence
"Russia has already been enacting covert mobilisation and is preparing to announce a mass mobilisation in the near future," Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, said during an interview.
