Israel's Defense Minister to US Official McGurk: Operation in Gaza Won't Cease Until Hamas is Dismantled, and Hostages are Safely Recovered

Israel's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, conveyed a resolute message to Brett McGurk, the White House coordinator for the Middle East, during their recent meeting. 

Gallant emphasized that Israel would persist in its Gaza campaign until the complete eradication of the Hamas terror group and the safe return of hostages held in the Strip to their families.

In discussions that extended into the details of the hostage situation, Gallant shared intelligence about those held captive by Hamas and the ongoing efforts for their repatriation. The Defense Ministry's statement highlighted Israel's unwavering commitment to achieving its mission in Gaza.

Brett McGurk, currently on a swift tour of regional countries, aims to broker a US-brokered deal for the release of approximately 240 individuals held in Gaza by Palestinian terrorists.

Following his visit to Israel, McGurk is expected to continue his diplomatic efforts in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain.
