IDF Reports Ongoing 'Fierce Battles' in Gaza, Troops Eliminate Hamas Cell near School in Northern Strip

According to The Times of Israel, the 7th Armoured Brigade orchestrated attacks on two rocket launchers responsible for the barrages on central Israel the previous day. The IDF airstrikes also targeted members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, as well as infrastructure linked to these terror groups.

On Wednesday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported ongoing intense clashes with Hamas operatives in the Gaza Strip, accompanied by Israeli Air Force strikes on more than 250 targets, as per media sources.

According to The Times of Israel, the 7th Armoured Brigade orchestrated attacks on two rocket launchers responsible for the barrages on central Israel the previous day. The IDF airstrikes also targeted members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, as well as infrastructure linked to these terror groups.

In the statement, the IDF highlighted that the Kfir Brigade successfully neutralized a group of Hamas operatives near a school in northern Gaza. Subsequently, soldiers discovered and dismantled a tunnel shaft and confiscated weapons in the vicinity.

Furthermore, the IDF disclosed that weapons were found in another school in northern Gaza, where subsequent actions were taken by the military.
